What is domiciliary care
Domiciliary care means care that is provided to people who still live in their own homes but require additional support with domestic tasks of daily living, personal care or a range of other services that enhance someone’s independent living skills. This support is available to people who are struggling to meet their day to day care needs usually due to a physical and mental health condition or disability.
Personal care
Real Social Care Solutions Ltd is duly registered with the CQC to provide personal care support to all adults (aged 18 years and over). We pride ourselves in having a team of specially trained qualified care staff who provide a dignified professional service when delivering personal care. Personal care is support that involves physical contact between the carer and the client. This can include washing, dressing grooming, toileting, incontinence support and feeding. This care will be provided in the comfort of your own home.
Before providing you with our services we complete comprehensive risk assessments and care plans to ensure that the highest safety standards for you, your loved ones and our staff. We provide person-centred care which can vary from prompting with personal routines including waiting outside the room to full support with personal hygiene.
The support that we can offer you or your loved one may consist of:

Our care staff are fully trained in the latest safety techniques to assist with personal care and will support our clients in a dignified way that enhances their independence in the most comfortable way. All our carers are trained in moving and handling and can assist clients with limited mobility using all types of moving and handling equipment.

Elderly care, Dementia and Alzheimer’s Care
Our highly trained and trustworthy staff are skilled to provide support to the elderly including those with diagnosed or suspected conditions such as dementia and Alzheimer’s. We will make sure that the home environment is safe and make recommendations for adaptations that may be required to make life easier for our clients. We also provide respite/ sitting services for those caring for the elderly and provide emotional support for families caring for the elderly. We also help with liaising with other organisations in social services, health and other voluntary sector organisation to maximise the support available to our clients. We work closely with organisations such as Age UK, Alzheimer’s Society and Advocacy Services such as POhWER and Your Voice Your Choice to make sure that the voice of the cared for client is being listened to.
Our staff are well trained to follow the local and national policies, guidelines and laws that requires our care staff to can live as independent as they can be and prevent, delay and reduce the need of people being admitted in residential and nursing care homes. We understand the challenges that can come with caring for someone with dementia and provide free information and emotional support to those caring for people with dementia and other neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
